Strongly recommend for a weekend excursion

Modern room, clean room, with excellent facilities like a rain head shower and a smart TV with Netflix, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.

Everything was amazing.

Had a pleasant stay for a short visit, glad I've chosen it. The double room I got was budget. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and there were a private safe, central heating, and an electronic key card. The location was marvellous and amazing, just a short stroll away from a decorative arts museum.

Marvellous and particularly good position, we liked staying here.

The room was neat and compact on the ' balcony ', we stayed in all day. Amiable staff did a great job.

The check-in process was a major pain. The automated machine didn't accept my details, leaving me standing outside for ages. Rooms were compact to the point of feeling cramped, and the lack of adequate air conditioning in hot weather. Noise from outside carried into the room late into the night, which disrupted my sleep schedule significantly.

Good-sized bedroom, excellent shower. Good breakfast. Really good location for train travellers and anyone wanting a city-centre base. A few steps from the main station and the cathedral.

The hotel is so close to the dom, I.E., Koeln Cathedrale, that the big and high dom can be properly captured in every angle by a camera exploiting the whole time of the day and night from evening to afternoon. The morning breakfast is ok.

The hotel has no lift and its small stairs bank is steep. For late arrival, the room key may be entrusted with an ibis hotel receptionist. The tv looks very old. Definitely a casual / budget choice.

Good location, but noisy

The location of the hotel is good, but do not have parking availability. When you arrive, it is a night mare to drop the bags.

Do not have elevator, the carpet is dirty, the bathroom is too small, the staff is unpolite with no flexibility to give you support. At 8:00pm the reception close, if you arrive to check in after that you will not have a hotel. The price is too high for the return that this "hotel" can offer.

Hotel was very central and easy to find. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Cost of hotel was very good for the facilities offered. Hotel owner very kind when we were caught out with flight cancellations in December.

The location near the cathedral and train station was perfect for exploring Cologne. The room felt modern with a nice blend of amenities like a fridge and kettle. Cleanliness stood out. I struggled with the self-check-in process, as the automated machine didn't recognize my details initially. Noise from the street was noticeable, especially late at night, hard to sleep well. A more effective noise insulation could really enhance the experience. Great value for the price but needs some tweaks for a smoother stay.

Breakfast not bad with pleasant staff.

Stains on floor and furniture, settee broken, wardrobe dirty containing a stained pillow, no drink making facility, shower cubicle very small , no lift 3 flights of stairs to room which was immediately above a major roundabout so very noisy.

free internet but unfortunatly only in the lobby

service was terrible, value for money was terrible, breakfast was mediocre, comfort was very bad, bathrooms too small and the amentieis were only refilled when we asked and not done automatically

The location was unbeatable, just a stone's throw away from the cathedral and train station! The room was modern and cozy, with fantastic amenities like a rain head shower, a smart TV with Netflix, and complimentary drinks in the fridge. Housekeeping was on point, delivering extra coffee within minutes of requesting it through the in-room tablet.

Confusing check-in process.

I chose this hotel purely for its proximity to the main railway station as my main purpose was merely to use Cologne as a base for trips up the Rhine and the Moselle. From that viewpoint it was perfect. Accommodation was fine.

No lift.

YEs in the booking cnfm it was mentioned that the Internet is Free. But in Hotel they hv't provide any thing.
